My Own Pleasure (sonnet)

What is better than ice cream after sex,
Still awash in each orgasm's tingle?
Each climax arising to meet the next --
Never mind the fact that I am single!
I didn't need a man to deliver
The ecstasy that rocked me to the core.
It took just a toy to make me quiver,
Each jolt was better than the one before.
There was no need to inform or explain
What I wanted or needed, how or when.
There was no pressure; no hot, searing pain.
I decided when to start, when to end.
Don't pity me for being all alone --
For once I can have pleasure all my own.
